Keleidoscope Visions: Jake's Revelation
Liam’s face was ashened, “It’s happening again,”
My throat ached. My ears rang. My knees felt weak. Up until now, I’d been able to convince myself that I was sleep-walking. Now, Liam’s affirmation that my dreams were more than that, brought everything into a reality that I was all too afraid to face.
“Yes,”
“I thought you said they’d stopped!”
“They had,” i swore, and took to walking, fast towards “C” Building, “But they’re back – and with a vengeance!”
“Tell me everything,”
I stopped against the wall of Building “C” and I did. I told him of the girl. The blouse, torn and bloodied. I told him of the dark voice echoing in a swirling haze. I told him about the knife. I told him how time was fractured by 3 hours and that the 4th minute of the hour was significant.
“Jesus!” Liam sank.
“She dies, Liam, and she talks to me now.”
“The girl!?” it was more a statement, “she talks…. ” he stammered, “How?”
“In my head, she knows that i know,”
“So, what are you going to do?”
“Go to her!” I said.
