My first ficlets (May 2007) covered the life of Scarlet, a modern-day “Robin Hood”, and Holden, a professor at the college which she attended.

A few days ago, I revisited these old friends, only to realize that I hadn’t really given their characters much depth until the first time I started up the series again.

In short, I think I’ve come a long way.

Scarlet and Holden drew me to Ficlets, because I wanted to take them off of my handmade (and hand drawn!) comic book, and give them more exposure.

Little did I know, they would hand me so much more in return.
