I have no plans to judge this challenge. It’s simply a challenge to help build the community, possibly expand your list of authors you follow, and make someone’s day.

I’m a little choked up. This challenge is so in line with the principles and original thought behind the LoA that I am ashamed I didn’t think of it before you. You shame me, sir. And very glad to see it’s already taken off a fair bit! Woohoo!

I’m having having fun digging through the treasure box of older ficlets. That is, between looking through random images that may become my next buddy icon. (And yes John, I am having a bad case of Buddy Icon Meltdown or BiM. The fever should break soon. ;D)

Wow, great challenge! Your number of comments is amazing! Unfortuanly, I have the same number of comments as ficlets…maybe a little more but still. I always break even! I’ll I have really look around for this one!

I love this challenge and hope to have enough time to enter it, but I’ll be out of wi-fi range for about a week.

Thanks THX . The challenge was definitely inspired by the tenets of the LoA. I wasn’t actually sure if it had been done before, as I didn’t do a comprehensive search, but I had kind of guessed it was somewhat original.
And thank you to everyone who has entered, and those who hopefully will continue to enter. There are fewer, and fewer things to smile about these days with gas at almost five bucks a gallon, so a random unsolicited sequel seems like a good way to brighten someone’s day.

That is a really cool idea for a challenge, John. I can see in all of your work that you put a lot of effort into it, and it shows!
