I opened my eyes and out of no where they started to sting. Oh no, I forgot to take my contacts out. I got up from my computer chair and ran to the bathroom. My eyes were red and puffy. It looked like I had pink eye but worse. Were they burning? Don’t even go there.
When I finally got them out everything was in a blur and I couldn’t even see where I was going.
“Mom!” I shouted. I tried to find the stairs but it was impossible.
“Woah!” I yelped as I tripped down three stairs and tumbled down the rest. I found the staircase…
I opened my eyes to my mother.
“Are you okay?” she asked as she helped me up.
“Mom, you have three heads?”
“What?”
“I forgot to take my contacts out and now you have three heads and fourteen eyes,”. She frowned. This was just great. I didn’t even get to Middleton Academy and I was already having the worst day of my life.
