Reunited [Part 1]
I sat down at one of the school’s lunch table and pulled out my homework they had just assigned in my last class. It was only reading so I figured I would get a head start on it. I sat alone, but the didn’t bother me. I liked the quiet.
I bit down on my apple as I began reading. It wasn’t long before someone dragged me from my reading.
“Uhm… Excuse me?” A male voice said, seemingly uncomfortable.
I looked up and took in his blue button-down shirt and jeans. His brown hair was messy as if he had gotten out of a shower and left it to it’s own accord. I finally reached his clear blue eyes, a hint of something familiar in them.
“Yes?” I answered, waiting.
“I know this will sound silly… but I feel like I know you from somewhere…” He trailed off, now completly embarassed.
“Well, I only just moved down here for my first semester of college. I don’t know many people yet.” I told him and looked down at my book again, hoping he’d get the hint. He didn’t.
