Reunited [Part 2]
He plopped himself down in the chair next to me. I let out an exagerated sigh and looked up at him once more. He was now muttering something to himself.
“What did you just call me?” I asked, shocked.
“Huh?” He asked looking up. “Oh, I thought maybe you were Annie, but you couldn’t be… I haven’t talked to her since…”
“How… L… Leo?” I asked suddenly.
“Oh Annie! It is you! Why are you here? I mean aside from the obvious, why did use choose a place so far from home?” Leo was rambling.
“I had to get away…” I looked down at the memory of home and shuddered. “And I had a stay hope I’d find you someday…”
“Oh, I’ve missed you so much!” Leo whispered.
“I missed you too.” I breathed, returning my gaze to his.
Ever so slowly, Leo leaned across the tabe. His lips found mine and he kissed me. It was magical, a feeling I couldn’t have imagined even in my wildest dreams. And in that moment, I knew everything would be alright.
