“What?!” The band members asked, “You’ve got the lunatic who shot him locked up?”
“He’s at the station right now,” the police officer replied.
“That’s great!”
“Well, yes, but the problem is, after searching him, we found out that he’s working for someone else.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean that since that guy didn’t kill him, somebody else probably will try to. That’s why we suggest that you don’t continue your tour.”
“Well, I hope you have another suggestion because we can’t let down thousands of fans by discontinuing our sold out tour!”
“I thought you’d say that. That’s why we’ve decided to supply you with a police escort wherever you go, kind of like your own personal secret service.”
“Well, that sounds fine, but I hope you can arrest this guy as soon as possible, so we don’t have to worry about it anymore.”
“Oh, trust me, we want that as much as you. This guy’s been on the FBI ’s Most Wanted list for months!”
