Seeing more of Each Other?
After getting dressed and doing my usual morning ruitine, I picked up my cell phone to call Rose again. My dad came into the room before I could dial her number.
“Hey, Tyler?”
“Yea?”
“There’s a parade today down town. We could invite Rose to come if you like.”
I smiled and nodded.
“Alright, I was just about to call her. Where’re we gonna be though?”
“Time Square, I think. It’ll be crowded, so you two will be sticking with us the whole time.”
He gave me a look, and I laughed lightly.
“Alright, as long as I get to see her.”
My dad nodded.
“You know, maybe we could find a way for you two to see each other more before the summer ends.”
My face lit up.
“Really?”
He shrugged.
“Probably, we’ll just have to see what we can work out.”
With that, he left the room, leaving me alone to dial Rose’s number.
“Hello?”
“Rose! Guess what?”
“hmmm?”
I could tell she was still tired.
“We’re gonna see a parade today, and my dad said something about seeing each other after we leave!”
