Parade!

I bounced around my hotel room getting ready.

“Where are we going?” My mom asked. I rolled my eyes at how she acted like she was going with me not just going.

“The parade.” I said simply, putting on my lip gloss.

When I finally finished, we walked out and hailed a cab to Times Square. I spotted the Parson family first and took off in a sprint, almost losing my mom in the crowd.

“Tyler!” I screamed, throwing my arms around him. I pulled back slowly, completly consious of our parents watching us. I had a thing about PDA in front of parents.

“Rose!” He said, mocking me. I rolled my eyes and grabbed his hand, stalking off to join his parents.

“Ready for the parade, kids?” Mrs. Parson asked us, ushering us up to the front so we could see better.

“Sure!” Tyler said, squeezing my hand.

“Should be fun. Hey Tyler? What is this parade for?” I asked, laughing slightly.

Tyler laughed at me earning himself a glare and eye roll from me.
