A strange vision

I watched most of the floats and attraction pass by, but my attention was focused mainly on the sensation of Rose’s sudden closeness. I sighed in affection at the feeling of her arms around me, and at that moment, everything seemed to freeze. In fact, I wasn’t even aware of the parade anymore. I was in a room, gazing at a black haired boy who sat on his bed.
His hair covered his eyes, and he held scissors in one hand, an ipod in the other. The boy was breathing deeply, trying to calm himself down. I could hear him whispering something, one word, over and over again, but I couldn’t tell what. I noticed several tears fall from his cheeks to the bed, where they were absorbed into the covers. He clenched his teeth, and suddenly threw the scissors across the room. He now uttered loudly what he’d been whispering before.
“sorry… so sorry…”

He lifted his head slowly to meet my gaze, and lightning struck my soul when I saw it was me…

I heard a voice off in the distance.
“Tyler? you ok?”
