the next thing i remember
i was rolling over
in a hospital bed
vomiting up the pills
with people screaming
and doctors talking
but i could hear one voice clearer than any others
it was my boyfriend
saying to hold on
it would be okay
and when the doctors finally left
it was his hand that was in mine
crying over me
saying i cant believe you would do this
i love you and so do many others
and to watch you try and take your life
is the worst thing i have ever seen
your parents arent comeing
i didnt call them
because i know that this is there fault
so they can live with wondering where you are
i’m hear so your safe and thats all that matters
and thats when he kissed me
and said i have a question for you
but i will ask you tomarrow
you need your rest
so go to sleep and dont worry
because i’m not going to leave you
no matter what anyone says
