At the police station, each member of this twisted tale was placed in a separate room for questioning.

Devon explained in the long-winded way that 8 year olds do, how Julian had told her about leaving her biological mom with Petunia, who had lied to keep him from telling Trazelli that he was in love with her and couldn’t kill her. She even mentioned that he had sunblock for the same kind of birthmark as she had, but the officer interrupted her and made her tell about Showbiz instead.

Julian confessed to kidnapping and arson under Trazelli’s orders to clean up this mess and also shared his knowledge of Trazelli’s penchant for killing off his “help” when they were no longer useful, as Julian felt he was. He claimed that if Trazelli had gotten to the motel while he and Devon were there, there would have been a double murder.

Trazelli asked for his lawyer and refused to speak at all.
