Hadron Effect
The man standing before them was human with, albeit, eyes far too large for his face, and standing at a near 7 feet tall. Looking up at the man, Bill was ever the business,
“Hello there,” he started, “I am Bill Stronarck, I uhh..” he looked at Conrad for clarification, “I don’t quite know how to put it,”
“We are victims of a horrible accident in Geneva!” Conrad tried.
The long, lithe man stared at them puzzled, “I do not know Geneva,” he said, “But you must come in from the rain,” the man frowned, “All of you,”
Conrad had begun to notice the itching on his neck. He looked at his hands, and a rash had begun.
Looking back at the plain of humanity, now picking itself up off the ground, Bill was forced to admit, “WE know none of them. I .. ” he stumbled upon his own words, “Where are we,”
“You are here,” the tall man’s voice was bemused, “Where else would you be?”
“Is this Earth?” Conrad made another attempt.
“Earth?” the stranger’s face twisted, lost, “I do not know ‘Earth’. We must get out of the rain,”
