Residing Dreams (Chapter 140)
I bit my lip as I walked into Casimir’s Palace, as I liked to call it. “Hullo there,” he greeted. “I’m glad you remembered,” he said. “Remembered what?” I asked, confused. “Remembered my existance. Like I said before, this is all so new. Meeting someone my age,” Casimir explained. As I came closer, I noticed that he had an IV in his arm. I stared but didn’t say anything. He looked around for a minute. “So, what’s a chap to do on a day like today? Can’t go outside and play cricket, or anything like that. I’ve never been much of an outdoorsman,” he noted. “Do you go to school?” I asked. “No,” he replied. “I never have. I get home schooled. That way, I’m sick, but I’m not stupid. Knoweledge is something that no one can take away from me,” he said. “I don’t play sports either,” I responded. “Well, you’re a girl, so that’s not really a big deal,” he said. “Hey, some girls are athletes,” I pointed out. “But it’s much worse if you are a boy and you can’t play sports. That’s not supposed to happen,” Casimir replied.
