him ((Mini series Part 2))
Somehow our eyes met at the same moment. Relief washed over me in a rush as a smile graced both of our lips. He walked up to me, time seeming to slow to beyond a crawl, and wrapped his arms around me.
“Hi, Sweetie.â? He murmured in my ear.
“Hey.â? I breathed. My heart was pounding and I couldn’t concentrate on forming words any longer then that.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and just breathed him in. Surprisingly, his scent and his touch calmed me tremendously. We didn’t move for five minutes, unable to bear the thought of not being this close again.
Mom walked up behind us, a broad smile on her lips, “Alright, come on. There will be plenty of time for that later you too! Let’s go get his luggage.â?
We both sighed, but split. He grabbed my hand automatically, as Mom handed me my purse. We walked hand-in-hand to the luggage carousal, both of us with ridiculously huge smiles plastered on our faces. I felt like a happy newly wed couple as we got his luggage and then headed for the car and home.
