C U NOW: The Pervert and the Freaky Ghost Man
I wake up to a freezing-cold version of my house. The fan is iced over, the living room is an ice-box. There’s the man, seeming to be okay outside of his stupid mirrors now. Now that he’s not flickering into my vision and giving me a heart attack every second, it’s okay now.
He’s looking at me. Wasn’t he always, though? But then he spoke, as cold as the room around me.
“I’ve been following you.”
I resisted the urge to yell “dawh!”
“You’ve been freaking me out plenty of times too. Speaking of which, you seem to have dual personalities. One’s a pervert, the other’s some freaky ghost man.”
“Sadly, I do have an imposter who is a pervert. He does stalk you, and you should be able to get rid of him. Now, me? You can’t get rid of me. I was the one who told you telling someone won’t help. The imposter doesn’t know enough about you to say that, even.”
“Ooook…Why can’t I get rid of you?”
“Why, I thought you had it figured out by now. You can’t rid yourself of me because I am you.”
