I’m sorry, but I couldn’t wait for ten more ficlets to write a challenge (they are, traditionally, made in increments of 50.) I thought, “What the hay, 340 ficlets deserves a challenge, too! Am I right?” Of course I’m right! Cripes, they’re more of a guideline, really!

So, the challenge? Well, you asked for it. Mystery! Yes, a mystery! And not just any mystery, a 1920-40s mystery. You know, “cat’s pajamas”, “gumshoes”, and all that jazz. Oh, please, don’t pout, it’s not very becoming.

    Ha! I think I’ve got the perfect detective idea. Now I just have to come up with a mystery idea.
    By the way, it might be to long for one ficlet, so I’ll sequel for the continuation.

    340? holy toledo, batman! well, i suppose this is one challenge i cannot enter since i have no knowledge of the subject and don’t wish to do research as i am currently swamped with work which may ultimately alter the course of my life (not really)!

    okay, are you british or french? everything you write seems to have elements of french in it and then suddenly “cripes!” right out of nowhere. this made alot more sense before i started writing it so i’m gonna shut up now!

    Laine – neat challenge, but it’s going to take me some time to come up with a crime and a criminal. Is there a time limit?

    My entry is so bad, I had to put it in the prequel section. But I’m sitting at work, waiting for the attending to show up, so I wanted something to do. Probably should’ve done something else.
