Yay! I’ve posted 200 comments! You know what that means right? Challenge! My first challenge! I know most of you are probably worn out on challenges, but this one will be fun. I promise.

The rules/regulations: Write a ficlet made up of song lyrics. You can add he said she said and details, but it should be mainly lyrics. It doesn’t have to be dialouge, it can be in first or third person. Bold the lyrics part, so I know what’s from a song and what’s not. I already wrote my example in case you need inspiration. Thnx for entering, and if you don’t, hope you have a nice day!

    Hmm, do all the lyrics need to be from the same song? Or can they be from different songs?

    They can be from different songs. The same song would be too hard.

    does it have to be dialogue, or can it be a bunch of lyrics you think go together?

    Okay, I took a swing at it. I decided to run with my usual amount of verbose description and song lyrics only for dialog, just to challenge myself along with your challenge.

    Ha ha, I really like this challenge idea! I’m constantly listening to music (even right now). Also, challenges never get tiring, at least for me—the inspiration is always welcomed and you have inspired me!

    I just wrote my entry. I used the song “Your Ex-Lover is Dead” by Stars. (Brilliant song) Nice challenge idea!
