The 5 Things Ficlets Diary. What a great way to get things off your chest and learn that you aren’t alone in the world with your problems. You wouldn”t believe how many people have the same problems as you do. It kind of brings you back to reality.

Great idea—sometimes getting those things out is both a good way to vent and to jumpstart the muse.

This is a great idea for a challenge – reminds me of author Sol Stein’s “secret snapshot” technique – the gist of that is that your darkest secrets hold the key to great writing topics. Cool challenge – spawned some great writing / reading…

As much as I would love to contribute with five things I’ve never told anyone, the reason I haven’t told anyone my five things is largely because I can’t. I love the idea, though.

amazing. 1,3 &4 are totally me…feels good to have someone put into words what i couldn’t…

1. I’ve felt that way actually. I don’t know you, but I trust you’re not as bad you think

2. What’s normal? Cherish unique experiences, even bad ones, without them what would make your life your own?

3. Death is a vast unknown. I trust the people that love you never truly forget though

4. Again, I’ve felt that way

5. Only you can decide how much you’re willing to risk and if the payoff is worth it.

I love these so much. I’ve been reading them… and I’ve been reading things that I can relate to. It makes me feel less alone. So thanks to whoever posted these things.
