I don’t own a cat because of but I’ll sign anyway. John Perkins is quite awesome indeed. In my opinion he’s one of the most in depth commentators and a darn good writer to boot.

I have a cat and we both detest fleas, but I would’ve signed anyways, cat or not, because John Perkins is the bomb diggity. He not only catches mistakes and helps with editing, plus provides insightful comments, he’s also a fabulous author in his own right.

But I would have signed even if I didn’t because John Perkins is always commenting not just to give an opinion but to say something that makes your writing better. And, even more, HIS writing cannot be described with any other word but awesome.

Wow, that’s pretty cool. Thanks. I appreciate all the kind words. Kind of blows me away.
However, I must confess. I comment for somewhat selfish reasons. One, I think that if I comment on someone’s story, they might go and read one of mine. And two, I find it helpful as a writer to practice editing. Reading with a critical eye helps me in my own works, though I do enjoy it when I can help someone make their piece better.
So thanks again. Totally unexpected. I almost teared up. Almost.

I must argee as well. John Perkins is pretty awesome. And I think it would be silly of him not to note THX right this minute and ask for a spot in the LoA!! Of course.. if he’s not on.. he should do it as soon as he does sign on! =)

I think John has read everything I’ve written. And I’m flattered with every comment. I’ve enjoyed (though not commented enough) on his stuff. He’s a hell of a writer, a hell of an editor, and an all-round hoopy frood.

I completely agree with everyone (except jerseygirl cuz she’s a bit lost). John is overtly awesome. He is one of the first people to read my stories and comment. He once found a very serious typo in the title of one of my ficlets and I always find his comments helpful and motivational (even if he calls my character disturbed). I have 3 cats but they’re all inside cats so little chance of fleas but I would sign this petition regardless! John deserves to be in the LoA!!!

John Perkins is one of the kindest most helpful people on here. I have noted him at length about various topics. He reminds me of one of those popular teachers at school. And they are popular for the right reasons. Like, Kindness,patience, and a deep passion for helping others. He is that type of person. He flat out rocks! I owe him a debt of gratitude, for all his help. Hes the best!

Jokes aside, I’m all for it!John can be the fleas on my cat any day! If I ever get a cat…if it ever wants fleas, or if I don’t kill it when it does get fleas. I think he’s commented on everything I’ve ever done, so he’s A-OK in my book!

I think JP is a homeless bum who lives on a dirty mattress in some hole where he has squirreled away a laptop with a wireless connection. And all he does all day is ficletting. That’s apart from sneaking to the internet café and begging for some coffee off a passing stranger or squeal at the owner because his connection is slow. It’s the only explanation I have for how he is able to read all stories, comment and write some of his own. All that’s definitely awesome! Thusly I’m signing this petition.

Oh and it’s probably also why his profile picture is a very stylistic image of a boy. A picture of the real JP would scare the bejesus out of us. ;-) No offense JP.
