Because I have posted 270 comments, I have a Daniel Handler related challenge. I know what you’re asking “Why Daniel Handler?” It is because his birthday is in February (hence the 2), and he was born in 1970, or ‘70.

In each of his books written under the pen name Lemony Snicket, he includes many allusions to books of the same theme. Ex. In The End, most of the characters names are the same, or similar, to those of others in sea based books and plays.

But, anyway, now for the challenge. You are to write a ficlet, of any subject matter, that makes at least 5 allusions to a popular literary work, plays and musicals included.
