Ok, I know there are a few open challenges right now, and we really don’t need another one, but too bad. The stars align.

Today marks my five week anniversary on Ficlets. In that time I’ve posted 51 ficlets and 507 comments. So, I felt it was an ok time for me to post my first challenge.

If you’ve read any of my stand-alone fics, you know that I enjoy a good twist. And from what I’ve read here, from you guys, I’m not alone in this. So, what I’m looking for is a bunch of entries that blow my mind. A truly unexpected twist, that once known fits perfectly into the rest of the narrative. Think the “Sixth Sense.”

Just to add an extra layer of difficulty, I would like to see you achieve Ficlet Nirvana. Not necessarily a requirement, but it will play a part in the judging, set to take place on the 4th of July.

Please, enter as many times as you want, and make the story as long as is necessary. But most of all, have fun.
